The Knowledge Keepers Blood Memory project aims to collaborate with Michif Knowledge Keepers to develop a Métis-specific healing and wellness resource tailored for Métis.

Rooted in a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach, this initiative focuses on awakening ancestral blood memory teachings to preserve and share traditional Métis knowledge. Guided by the Knowledge Keepers, the resulting resource bundle may include a diverse array of culturally relevant tools, such as medicine guides, meditation and prayer practices, traditional stories, video clips, and art- or land-based activities. This bundle will serve as a vital resource for fostering healing, wellness, and cultural continuity within Métis people.

The project aims to bring together Michif Knowledge Keepers to collaboratively guide the creation of a Métis-specific healing and wellness resource tailored to Métis communities.

This resource will be a strengths-based, trauma-informed healing bundle, designed to awaken ancestral blood memory teachings while ensuring the preservation and sharing of traditional Métis knowledge through culturally grounded practices.

Under the guidance of the Knowledge Keepers, the final resource will be a comprehensive bundle that may include a medicine guide, meditation and prayer practices, traditional stories, video clips, as well as art- and land-based activities.
