Les Femmes Michif Otipemisiwak (LFMO) has established a significant nation-wide, communitybased protocol that allows for the preparation of a comprehensive Métis-distinct Framework Strategy for respectful inclusion into Canada’s National Action Plan. The Métis Nation Interim Report provides a synoptic scan of the Métis community’s priorities in support of the National Inquiry’s ‘Calls for Justice,’ and the Métis Nation’s, Calls for Miskotahâ [Change], regarding “truth, justice and fair reparation,” on behalf of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls; MMIWG victims, victim survivors and their families.
